The main goal for our Crash Course is to get students ready for their upcoming mid year exams for J2s and weighted assessments for J1s. As such, the main objectives are to:

By practicing and drilling case study and essay questions, students develop an understanding of the right way to organise their answers and fully answer the question.

Out content will be tailored to prepare them for the examination formats, with tips and strategies to maximise exam performance.
These vital exam skills are strengthened over our two-day course, where we cover both Microeconomics and Macroeconomics, ensuring that students have the chance to clear up their doubts and build confidence in their answering skills.

Our crash course differs from our regular tuition sessions by being completely exam-focused. We provide a highly concentrated revision session that fully prepares a student for an exam. An experienced economics tutor will guide students through past essay questions, help them look out for common pitfalls, and provide strategies for crafting high-scoring answers. These short but intensive sessions provide comprehensive exposure to the topic, ensuring that students can confidently take their tests.

Content and Teaching Methods
Our crash course ensures that students are aware of the key concepts behind A Level Economics. Throughout the intensive program, students are given the opportunity to engage in case study model essays, and receive hands-on exposure on the ideal answering techniques and structure. We hold graded practices to expose them with different question types, ensuring that they're fully prepared for whatever the exam can throw at them.

Course Structure, Venue and Schedule
Our May Crash Courses are conducted fully online via Zoom, running from 9.00 am to 12.00 pm per session. Each three-hour session is focused and exam-driven, giving students a clear understanding of what to expect in their papers and helping them reinforce their Economics knowledge before they enter the exam hall.
Course materials will be shared via Google Drive for easy access before and after the session.
Please note:
- Sessions are conducted on Zoom. A stable internet connection and a working camera are required.
- These crash courses are not suitable for H1 Economics students. Content is designed for H2 Economics.
- Limited to the first 50 sign-ups per session. Spots will fill up quickly, so register early.
Fees and Payment
Both crash course sessions are offered at no charge. However, to ensure commitment and accountability, a fully refundable deposit of $20 per session (via PayNow) will be collected upon registration.
The deposit is refunded in full when the student attends the session with their camera turned on. The deposit will be forfeited in the event of a no-show or if the student attends without their camera on.
This is a simple measure to ensure that every participant is genuinely committed to making the most of their time, and that each session remains focused and productive for all involved.

Yes, both May crash course sessions are conducted fully online via Zoom. There is no in-person option for these sessions. Please ensure you have a stable internet connection and a working camera before joining.
As these sessions are fully online and no recordings will be distributed, we strongly encourage you to attend live to get the full benefit of the session. Please note that the $20 refundable deposit will be forfeited in the event of a no-show or if you attend without your camera turned on.
The sessions are open to J1 and J2 H2 Economics students. The Macroeconomics Crash Course on 1st May is for J2 students only, while the Microeconomics Crash Course on 27th May is open to both J1 and J2 students. Please note that these crash courses are not suitable for H1 Economics students.
